Aero Systems supplies complete Flight Management Services for our customers. Aircraft are purchased, inspected, custom modified and maintained here at our facility in Erie, Colorado. This includes maintenance and pilot services for various types of aircraft. We work with the customer to evaluate work requirements and recommend the aircraft that best suits their needs.

ASI has supplied flight management and services for various aerial mapping, surveying and surveillance projects for government and private organizations throughout the world. ASI provides an aircraft with a camera port, installs navigation and any other specialized equipment, as well as racks to meet the customers needs. ASI provides qualified pilots and mechanics to support the aircraft and the job.

Aero Systems has been involved in classified flight support for various military applications. In this role, ASI performed as a sub-contractor to major defense industry corporations. Our experience in the modification and operation of high performance aircraft, mixed with the ability to provide on-board data acquisition systems, puts ASI in a unique industry positions.

ASI provided the company's Falcon 20 business jet and two T-33 jet trainers in Captive Flight Test Support. Each aircraft was modified and had equipment installed by Aero Systems employees to meet specific project specifications.

ASI provided a Beechcraft Model 18 with a bubble nose for downward viewing, LORAN C/GNS 500 interfaced to a Data Acquisition Systems (DAS,) stereo cameras and downward camera hatch to National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA,) and NW Fisheries for marine survey work over the Gulf Coast. ASI provided aerial compliance for local Farm Service Agencies. A special camera pod with a 35mm or digital camera and video camera was designed, manufactured, and installed in the co-pilot wing of a Cessna T210. A monitor and firing button were installed in the aircraft for operation by the pilot and observer.

ASI provided a DeHavilland DHC-6, Twin Otter Turboprop aircraft for survey of marine mammals off the coast of Southern California for NOAA. The aircraft was modified with a 12" x 16" camera hatch and bubbled windows on each side of the cabin for observation purposes.
